ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 not to issue any license or permission to the 4 th respondent for excavation and sale of red earth in and around Alagappasauthiram Village, Panruti Taluk, Cuddalore District particularly near the petitioner's land in Survey No.58/1, pending due environmental public access and livelihood impact assessments.

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that there is no question of issuing any license or permission to the 4 th respondent to quarry since till date, the 4 th respondent has not got the environmental clearance.

In the light of the above stand taken by the respondents 1 to 3, the grievance expressed by the petitioner has been sufficiently answered. 4.
