PRAYER : This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's patta application dated 10.11.2014 seeking for patta pertaining to the land bearing Survey Nos. 12(Part), 13, 14/2A to total extent 1575 sq.ft. within the period stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner filed an application dated 10.11.2014 seeking issuance of patta with respect to land situated in Survey Nos. 12 (Part), 13 and 14/2A to total extent 1575 sq.ft, based on a sale deed dated 05.08.2004. The said application was followed by another representation dated 02.06.2015. 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the pendency of the representation, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders in the petitioner's application dated 10.11.2014, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the third parties, if any.
