ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.109 of 2025 registered by the 1st Respondent Police on the file of K3 Aminjikarai Police Station, Chennai.
2. The petitioner, who is the accused in Crime No.109 of 2025 has filed the present petition, seeking to quash the said FIR.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that, in the present case, the de facto complainant and his friends were travelling on a motorcycle when the petitioner and his friends allegedly chased and assaulted them, causing injuries to the de facto complainant and his friends. He further submitted that, the investigation in this case is at an advanced stage and almost complete.
4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.
5. Considering the above submission made by the learned counsel on either side, and also taking into account that the investigation is almost complete, this Court is not inclined to interfere at this stage. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. The respondent police are directed
to file the final report/charge sheet, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
