Respondent PRAYER: Petition filed under Sections 7, 9 & 25 of the Guardians and Wards Act, 1980 with under Order XXI Rule 2 and 3 of Original Side Rules, to grant permanent custody of the minor girl child Zahrah Huq, aged about 3 years presently residing with the respondent at No.63, Eldams Road, Flat No.T-5, Sir Usman Court, Alwarpet, Chennai-600 018 to the petitioner herein on such terms and conditions as this Court may deem fit in the circumstances of this case.

O R D E R

The Mediation Center has filed report dated 23.02.2023 stating that 1/3

the mediation was concluded successfully. A settlement agreement dated SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY,J kmm 22.02.2023 is annexed to the report. The said settlement agreement has been signed by the petitioner, the respondent and their respective counsel.

2. The settlement agreement records that the parties have reunited and agree to live together along with their minor children. They have further agreed to withdraw all allegations, claims and demands against each other in respect of O.P.No.427 of 2022.

3. I see no legal impediment to dispose of O.P.No.427 of 2022 in accordance with the settlement agreement. Therefore, O.P.No.427 of 2022 is disposed of in terms of the settlement agreement dated 22.02.2023. The said settlement agreement shall form an integral part of this order. Consequently, connected application is closed. No costs.
