O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to act upon the representation made by the petitioner on 08.11.2024 wherein the petitioner has complained that the fifth respondent is running a textile mill in a residential area without obtaining proper permission and thereby, he is polluting the area.

2. Heard Mr.S.Saranraj, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.G.Velu, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioner has given a representation in this regard in the year 2024. There is no material available before this Court to establish that this representation was received by any of the respondents. Hence, this Court cannot act upon the representation that has been placed before 2/4

this Court.

4. In view of the above, it is left open to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the Tahsildar viz., the third respondent along with all the relevant documents. On receipt of the same, the Tahsildar shall verify as to whether the fifth respondent is running any textile mill and if so, whether any permission has been granted. On ascertaining all the facts and after affording opportunity to the fifth respondent, the third respondent shall take a decision on the representation to be made by the petitioner.
