O R D E R

Seeking a direction to provide educational loan for a sum of Rs.7,50,000/- covering a period of five years, the petitioner has come forward to file this writ petition.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner sought the said loan for his son's education.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.2 submitted that the application of the petitioner for educational loan has not been rejected. Since the petitioner seeks a sum of Rs.7,50,000/-, as per the procedure, security will have to be provided. On satisfaction of the said security to be provided, the application will be processed.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that adequate security will be given.

5. Considering the above, the writ petition stands disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to give adequate security for the loan amount sought for by the petitioner, as required by the respondent No.2. On furnishing of security by the petitioner, the respondent No.2 shall process the application and do the needful. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
