Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the amount of compensation with interest from that date of original notification for the petitioners property bearing Plot Nos.68 & 69 totally 4800 Sq.ft. in S.No.19/2B in Vadakal A Palnallur Village Sriperumbudur Taluk Kanchipuram District which were acquired by the respondents for the purpose of setting up of SIPCOT Industrial Complex Sriperumbur Expansion Scheme II under Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Industrial Purpose Act 1977 (T.N. Act 10 of 1999) forthwith.

ORDER

Heard Mr.P.Jagadeesan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Lakshmi Narayanan, learned Additional Government Pleader accepting notice on behalf of the respondents and with their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to pay the amount of compensation with interest from the date of the Notification in respect of the petitioner's property which was acquired under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Industrial Purposes Act, 1977. The petitioner would state that he is ready and willing to accept the compensation payable and as quantified by the authority. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 10.10.2015 to the authorities concerned.

In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 10.10.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and if there is no other legal impediment, the compensation as computed, shall be disbursed to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
