C.M.P.No.14575 of 2018 in C.M.A.No.SR3226 of 2018 T.RAJA, J.

This civil miscellaneous petition has been filed to condone the delay of 92 days in preferring the appeal against the award passed in E.C.No.281 of 2015 dated 11.8.2017 by the learned Commissioner for Workmen's Compensation/Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Coonoor, The Nilgiris.

2. Mr.J.Chandran, learned counsel for the petitioner-Insurance Company stated that only for the purpose of getting opinion from the higher officials whether it is a fit case for filing appeal, the delay has occurred. If the delay is condoned, the issue raised in the present appeal can be gone into, which will not cause any prejudice to the respondents.

3. As there is no serious objection made by the learned counsel for the respondents 1 & 2, the delay is condoned and the C.M.P.No.14575 of 2018 stands allowed.
