This petition has been filed to quash the FIR registered in Crime No.279 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 430, 379 of IPC on the file of the respondent police.
2. Mr.A.Gopinath, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that, while pending this Criminal Original Petition, after completion of investigation in Crime No.279 of 2020, the respondent had filed final report as early as on 20.12.2020 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Arakkonam.
3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), the prayer sought for in this petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the final report in the manner known to law.
