ORDER

The writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to the third respondent to pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner dated 18.4.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for cancellation of the patta that stands in the name of the fifth respondent with respect to the property in S.No. 159/3, Sadhasivapuram Village, Thalaivasal Taluk, Salem District measuring 70 cents and to issue a patta in the name of the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader accepting notice for respondents 1 to 4. In view of the limited nature of relief this Court proposes to grant, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal without ordering notice to the fifth respondent.

3. Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to deal with the 2/4

representation made by the petitioner dated 18.4.2025 on merits and after affording an opportunity to the fifth respondent, pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with law with a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
