This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police not to harass the petitioners and their family members in the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. On a complaint given by one Sakubar Ali, petition enquiry in CSR No.379 of 2016 is pending. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioners shall co-operate in the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, they shall not be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused.
