Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to depute the surveyor to survey the land bearing Survey No.363/4B in Joint Patta No.2063 measuring 4935 sq.ft., by fixing the boundary stone and consequently issue the Sub Division Patta Transfer to the petitioner's property situated at Veeraganur village, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem District.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claimed to have purchased the property admeasuring to an extent of 4935 sq.ft., in Survey No.363/4B, Veeraganur Village, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem District, through a registered Sale Deed bearing Document No.1248/2008 dated 19.06.2008, registered on the file of the Sub Registrar, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem District and a joint patta was also issued in Patta No.2063 and claims to be in possession and enjoyment of the said property. The petitioner has approached the respondent in the year 2012 for measurement and survey of the property and it is also followed by a reminder dated 01.06.2016 and since no orders have been passed, she came forward to file the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation/application dated 01.06.2016 on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice the person/s concerned and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the person/s concerned.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
