O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.19 of 2019, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Chennimalai Police Station, Erode District and quash the same.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petition was filed to quash the complaint on the ground that there is no material to investigate against this petitioner. Subsequently, after investigation, the respondent-police had found that this petitioner has no role in the crime. Hence her name was deleted and as a result, nothing survives in the petition.

3. Since the name of the petitioner has been deleted in the final report, the learned counsel for the de facto complainant seeks leave of this Court to permit the de facto complainant to work out his remedy in accordance with law. It is needless to say that if the de facto complainant is not satisfied with the final report, he shall approach the Court under appropriate provisions of law and seek remedy. 2/4

4. Therefore recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
