The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider his representation dated 19.08.2016 and to disburse the subsistence allowance with interest.

2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent submitted that the period during which the petitioner was under suspension was treated as leave before filing of the writ petition itself and hence, nothing survives for adjudication.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondents for grant of benefits remaining unpaid, if any.
