The petitioner filed a petition under Section 11(4) of Tamil Nadu Buildings (Lease and Rent Control) Act, against the respondent on 31.10.2018. The petition was taken up for hearing and arguments were heard on 14.02.2019. Thereafter, it has been periodically http://www.judis.nic.in 1/2

C.R.P.(PD) No.2546 OF 2019 adjourned on several occasions and that orders were not made ready. Latest endorsement of adjudication shows that it is posted for respondent side argument on 02.08.2019.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that even on 02.08.2019, the matter was adjourned to a future date. Aggrieved over the long pendency of the petition, the petitioner is before this Court for early disposal of R.C.O.P.No.613 of 2018.

3. Considering the long pendency of the petition vide. M.P.No.605 of 2018, this Court is inclined to grant direction to dispose of above said Miscellaenous Petition within a stipulated time limit.

4. Accordingly, a direction is issued to the XI Judge, Small Cause Court, Chennai, to dispose of M.P.No.605 of 2018 in R.C.O.P.No.613 of 2018, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the above observation and direction. No costs.
