The petitioner herein having given a complaint to Kurinjipadi police alleging forgery of Will in the name of her mother is now before this Court for expediting the investigation.

The complaint is dated 08.05.2024, within a month of filing the complaint alleging cheating, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking direction. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner making vile allegations against the police pray for the direction as above. 3.
This Court, on perusing the complaint and the nature of allegations is of the view that no specific time limit can be prescribed for completion of investigation, since the investigation is in connection with forgery of document which warrants testing the document forensically and get the opinion of the experts which may take time. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as pre-mature and unwarranted at this juncture.
