ORDER
When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent produced a copy of the proceedings of the Commissioner, Mercheri Panchayat Union made in Na.Ka.No.10688/rcjp-1(2)/2020 dated 22.10.2020, wherein it has been instructed to all the Personal Assistants of the District Collectors concerned that the direct recruitment to the post of Noon Meal Assistant in Mecheri Panchayat Union shall be kept in abeyance until further orders. It is further submitted that till date, the same notification has been kept in abeyance and no further proceedings have been initiated pursuant to the recruitment notification dated 24.09.2020.

2. In view of the above submission, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition and the same stands dismissed as infructuous. No Cots. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
