The present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st Respondent to consider and pass order on the petitioners representation dated 18.05.2020 and to provide Electricity Service Connection under Normal Scheme in Old Survey No. 138/1, New Survey No. 138 / 1A1,

Arungurukkal Village, Thiruvennainallur Taluk, Villupuram District

2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Electricity Board submitted that the petitioner's application has reached seniority much earlier and they are ready to provide agricultural service connection within a period of four weeks upon receipt of necessary charges from the petitioner.

3. In the light of the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents and further since the respondents undertakes to provide agricultural service connection within a period of four weeks as the petitioner's application reached seniority, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
