ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1 to 3 to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 05.04.2025 wherein the petitioner is seeking for disconnection of the electricity service connection standing in the name of the 4 th respondent.

Heard Mrs.Rajkumari.D, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Madhusudanan, learned counsel for respondents 1 to 3. 3.
The petitioner claims to be the owner of the subject property and 2/6
patta was also issued in the name of the petitioner and his brother. The further case of the petitioner is that the 4 th respondent encroached upon a portion of the patta land belonging to the petitioner and had put up construction. The petitioner filed a writ petition before this Court in WP No.1035 of 2025 for a direction to the revenue authorities to conduct a survey. Pursuant to the directions issued by this Court, survey was conducted and it was ascertained that the 4 th respondent has encroached upon a portion of the property. The 4 th respondent has also obtained the electricity connection in his name. 4.
The petitioner has submitted a representation before the respondents 1 to 3 on 15.04.2025 for termination of the service connection given to the 4 th respondent on the ground that the 4 th respondent is an encroacher. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that steps are being taken to initiate proceedings before the Civil Court in order to evict the 4 th respondent from the portion of the property in which he has encroached and put up construction.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case 3/6
and considering the materials placed before this Court and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the 3 rd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 15.04.2025 after affording opportunity to the petitioner and the 4 th respondent and a decision shall be taken within a period of six weeks there after.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
