Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records of the 2nd respondent dt 6.5.2015 in NAKA.A2/2380/2014 and quash the same and further direct the 2nd respondent to permit the petitioner along with one other elected member to operate the bank account bearing No.2135385970 in Central Bank of India Marakkanam Branch.

ORDER
Heard Mr.V.Ramesh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr.T.Thiyagarajan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader accepting notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2 and M/s.M.E.Rani Selvam, learned Additional Government Pleader accepting notice on behalf of the 3rd respondent and with their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. Though the petitioner seeks for quashing of the order dated 06.05.2015, in the course of the arguments, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied if the revision petition dated 03.06.2015, which has been filed by the petitioner under section 219 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayath Act, before the 1st respondent is disposed of expeditiously. The petitioner is said to have sent a reminder through his counsel on 07.10.2015 and in spite of the same, the revision petition has not been taken up for final disposal.
Learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the 1st respondent may be granted reasonable time to dispose of the revision petition on merits and in accordance with law which has been filed by the petitioner.
In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the revision petition dated 03.06.2015 filed by the petitioner along with the reminder dated 07.10.2015 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
