This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.1262 of 2016. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondent.

3.Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the FIR, this Court is of the view that it will be in the interest of justice, a direction is given to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.1262 of 2016 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a final report or a closure report as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
