The petitioner submitted a representation on 16.07.2015 before the Assistant Director of Land Survey, Kancheepuram to identify his property by fixing boundaries of his land. On receipt of the said representation, the Assistant Director of Survey, by proceedings dated 20.07.2015 forwarded the same to the respondent herein to take action and intimate the action taken report to him expeditiously. Thereafter, the respondent, by communication dated 11.08.2015, directed the petitioner to appear before the Taluk Surveyor on 20.08.2015 with the relevant documents. As the Taluk Surveyor was on leave, the petitioner met the Taluk Surveyor on 21.08.2015 and produced all the relevant documents. After verification, the Taluk Surveyor informed the petitioner that the course of action to be taken on his representation dated 16.07.
2015 would be intimated within 10 days. However, there was no response. Hence, the petitioner sent another representation dated 07.09.2015 to the respondent in regard thereto. As no action was forthcoming, even thereafter, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of this writ petition.

Considering the above facts and the limited scope of the relief sought, direction is issued to the respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 07.09.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
