This writ petition is filed for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.09.2015 forwarded by the 1st respondent.
2.
It is the case of the petitioner that the original name of his wife is Subbulakshmi, though she had a second name, Lakshmi, which was not official. Even in the sale deed in respect of a house property in favour of the petitioner's wife https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
dated 01.11.1994 in Document No. 2904 of 1994 on the file of Sub Registrar, Dharapuram, the original name of the petitioner's wife's name is found reflected. However, the First Information Report registered in Crime No. 64 of 2006, pursuant to her suicide, shows her name as Lakshmi, which was followed by Death Certificate and Legal Heirship Certificate. Hence, the petitioner gave a representation to the 1st respondent in person on 14.09.2015 seeking to remove the said anomaly and the 1st respondent forwarded the said representation to the 2nd respondent, before whom the same is pending consideration. Therefore, the present writ petition is filed seeking to expedite the matter.
3.
Taking note of the above facts, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.09.2015 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
