ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent to register the case of which the Reference No.CS1201500938 on the complaint of the petitioner dated 01.02.2015 and to investigate the matter and to file a final report under Section 173(2) Cr.P.C., the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent. 3.It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent that no such complaint dated 01.02.2015 was ever received by the respondent police from the petitioner.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the complaint was sent to the Superintendent of Police. 5.In view of the above, no direction as sought for by the petitioner could be granted to the respondent police. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with a direction to the petitioner to give a copy of the complaint dated 01.02.2015 to the respondent police in person and on such presentation, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and if any https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

cognizable offence is made out, act in accordance with the law as laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].
