ORDER

Petition seeking bail in connection with Crime No.74 of 2026 registered for the offences punishable under Section 194 of BNSS, 2023, @ 103(1), 238, 49, 61(2) of BNS, 2023, is on board for consideration. 2.

The case of the prosecution is that the deceased, a film director, was previously in a relationship with the first accused (A1), Pooja. Following a

misunderstanding, A1 ended the relationship and became involved with the second accused (A2). However, the deceased allegedly persisted in his demands for marriage and issued threats to A1. Consequently, A1 is alleged to have entered into a criminal conspiracy with A2 and other accused persons to commit the murder of the deceased. Hence the case.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and has been falsely implicated in this case. He also submitted that the petitioner is suffering incarceration from 09.03.2026 and she is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for the grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.

Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent reiterated the prosecution case and opposed for the grant of bail. He further submitted that the investigation is still pending. 5.

Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 6.

Taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case, nature of allegations, submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and considering the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
