The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has come forward with this petition to direct the respondent to take action against the accused in Crime No.402 of 2014 dated 26.03.2014 and direct the respondent Police to take proper action, within a limited period to arrest the accused. 2.I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and perused the materials available on record.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Inspector of Police (Crime Branch), F-3, Nungambakkam Police Station, Chennai, is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.402 of 2014, pending on his file and file a final report, if not already filed, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
