ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner is seeking direction to respondent Nos.1 and 2 i.e., the Commissioner, Corporation of Chennai and the Executive Engineer, Zone-5, Corporation of Chennai to initiate appropriate action against the unlawful/illegal construction put up by respondent No.3 at the premises No.7, Meera Labbai Street, Mannadi, George Town, Chennai-1.

2. The learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 and 2 submitted a status report of the Junior Engineer, Division-55, Chennai Corporation, wherein it is stated that the entire building has been sealed on 29.01.2019. He has further stated that the authorities will proceed in accordance with law.

3. In view of the status report and the statement made by the learned counsel appearing for Chennai Corporation, no further orders are necessary in the writ petition and the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.19523 of 2018 is closed.
