Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents police to provide adequate police protection to petitioner life and property on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 23.05.2024 given before the respondents 1 to 2 on the strength of the order of permanent injunction dated 14.11.2006 made in O.S.No.709 of 2004 by the Hon'ble Principal District Munsif Court, Salem as well as the Order in A.S.No.102 of 2007 passed by the Hon'ble Sub-court, Salem.

O RDER This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents police to provide adequate police protection to petitioner life and property on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 23.05.2024 given before the respondents 1 to 2.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the materials available on record.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 23.05.2024, the enquiry has been conducted and the same has been closed.
4. In view of the above, the direction sought for in this petition cannot be considered.
