2. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 4th respondent to consider and dispose of the representation made by the petitioner to the 4th respondent on 25.02.2026.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner had applied for Kalaignar Women's rights grant scheme, whereby, the
Government of Tamil Nadu granted Rs.1000/- per month as an initiative to the eligible women heads of households to recognise unpaid labour. He would further submit that the petitioner is a deserted woman and would rank high in the list of priorities. Despite the fact that the petitioner submitted a representation on 25.02.2026, she is not aware of the status of the said representation.
4. The learned Government Counsel for the respondents would submit that the respondents would consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders.
5. In view of the above submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of and the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.02.2026 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. In case, the orders are already passed, the copy of the said order would be duly communicated to the petitioner.
