Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's appeal dated 26.11.2021 on the basis of direction issued by the District Collector, Ranipet dated 01.02.2022 seeking for the issuance of legal heir certificate. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a limited relief.

2. The petitioner seeks for early disposal of her statutory appeal, pending on the file of the 1st respondent. The petitioner has filed the statutory appeal aggrieved by the issuance of Legal Heirship certificate.

3. Heard Mr.G.Jeremiah, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.H.Ravikumar, learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's statutory appeal is directed to be disposed of by the 1st respondent, expeditiously, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 1st respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's statutory appeal dated 26.11.2021, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The petitioner is permitted to produce documents and also raise 2/4

additional grounds, if so required before the 1st respondent.

7. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
