Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 24.09.2015 and conduct a proper enquiry and take suitable action in accordance with law within a stipulated period. The grievance of the petitioners is that though certain irregularities have been pointed out in the representation made on 24.09.2015, no immediate action is forthcoming on the part of the 1st respondent.

Learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the 2nd respondent has already initiated action by virtue of proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 13372/2015 M2 dated 19.10.2015 by directing the 3rd respondent to file a report in this regard and based on the report to be filed, appropriate action would be taken.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action, by getting the report from the 3rd respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
