ORDER

[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the first respondent to produce the person and body of the petitioner's son detenu V.Kishore, male, aged about 25 years, S/o.Vengatesh, before this Court from the illegal custody of the 2nd respondent and set him at liberty.

It is the case of the petitioner that her son Kishore, aged about 25 years, is in the illegal custody of the 2nd respondent/police and therefore, this habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking for his release.

Today, V.Ravi, Sub-Inspector of Police, M-7, Manali New Town Police Station, Chennai, is present.

On instructions, Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that Kishore was arrested in Manali New Town Police Station Crime No.713 of 2021 and was produced before the Judicial Magistrate Court, Ponneri, on 17.08.2021 and has been remanded in judicial custody. Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition stands closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
