ORDER

The petitioner has come forward with the above Writ Petition praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to dispose of the representation dated 24.05.2018 and pay the entire retirement benefits in favour of the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 24.05.2018.

2. Without going into the merits of the matter and taking into account the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition and considering the fact that the petitioner is going to retire on 30.06.2018 and that 29.06.2018 (Friday) being the last working day, the respondent is directed to consider the said representation of the petitioner, dated 24.05.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, before 28.06.2018, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and if there is no legal impediment in considering the said representation.

3. With the above observations and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.
