ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to take action of petitioner representation dated 28.08.2018 and to remove L.T.Line installed by the respondents running through the petitioner land in respect of Survey No.160/2A1C at Selaiyur Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

2. The case of the petitioner is that Low Tension electricity service line was erected by the respondents through the petitioner's land. For removal of the said electric line running through the petitioner's land, the petitioner made a representation before the respondents 1 to 6 on 28.08.2018 and the same was not considered. Hence, the present Writ Petition is filed before this Court for appropriate directions.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.08.2018 and pass appropriate orders, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court. 3/6

4. Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 6 and Mr.P.Srinivas, learned counsel appearing for the seventh respondent have no objection for the said order being passed.

5. In view of the above submissions, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.08.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
