Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. With the consent of either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2014 made for change of the name in the birth Certificate by the respondent within a time frame be fixed by this Honourable Court. 3.In the representation, the petitioner requests for correction of the initial in the petitioner's birth certificate and the representation is pending before the respondent since December, 2014.

4.In the light of the above, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.12.2014 and pass https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

orders on merits and in accordance with law, after notice to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
