This petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents to provide sufficient police protection to the petitioner's life and liberty from the third to fifth respondents.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first and second respondents and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner owned the property comprised in S.No.81, measuring an extent of 2.15 acres, situated at Elagari Malai, Koratur Village, Thiruppathur. However, there is obstruction from enjoying the said property at the hands of the third to fifth respondents. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint to give police protection to enjoy his land. 2/4
4. It is seen that there is a dispute between the petitioner and the third to fifth respondents in respect of the subject property. Therefore, the police protection cannot be granted to enjoy the property. Hence, the petitioner ought to have approached the Civil Court for appropriate relief.
