This petition has been filed seeking modification of the condition imposed in the order dated 04.05.2023 in Crl.O.P.No.9082 of 2023 directing the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) before the District Revenue Officer, Cuddalore.
2. The petitioner seeks modification mainly on the ground that the District Revenue Officer concerned refused to accept the deposit amount on the ground that he was not authorised person to receive.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), on instructions, submits that the District Revenue Officer, Cuddalore is willing to accept the demand draft.
4. In fact, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) produced the acknowledgment issued by the concerned District Revenue Officer accepting the demand draft submitted by the petitioner for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) dated 22.05.2023 drawn on State Bank of India, Cuddalore.

5. In view of the fact the District Revenue Officer, Cuddalore accepted the demand draft submitted by the petitioner and issued an acknowledgment, no modification in the earlier order is required. However, the petitioner is granted two weeks time from today to surrender and execute the sureties as ordered by this Court.
6. The petition in Crl.M.P.No.8029 of 2023 is disposed of accordingly.
