ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner in the compassionate ground as Office Assistant in the second respondent Society.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's father was working as a Salesman in the second respondent Society. While so, he died in harness on 08.09.2021. An application for compassionate appointment was made on 03.10.2023. Since there was no positive response, a representation was made to the Secretary, S.Kollappatti Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Society Ltd., but, the same was not considered. Hence, this petition is filed before this Court.

3. If there is inaction on the part of the second respondent Society, it is for the petitioner to approach the first respondent.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of on the following terms :- (i) The petitioner shall make a representation to the first respondent within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; 2/4

(ii) The same shall be considered on merits and in accordance with law within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of such representation;

(iii) There shall be no order as to costs.
