This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to quash the FIR in Crime No.13 of 2011 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the entire records in Crime No.13 of 2011 on the file of All Women Police Station, Vellore, was transferred by the respondent police for want of jurisdiction to Bangalore in Karnataka and the FIR has been registered in Halasurgate Women Police Station in Crime https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

No.0036/2015 under Sections 498, 506(ii) IPC r/w Section 4 of TNP Women Harassment Act and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act
