ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to render necessary protection to the petitioner to carry out the demolition work in the property in Old Door No.821, New No.100, Anna Salai, Chennai - 600 002 and to remove the debris in terms of the Notice dated 15.07.2014 issued by the first respondent.

2. There is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The learned standing counsel appearing for the Corporation of Chennai/first respondent would submit that, subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, the property has been demolished. The said submission is recorded. In such view of the matter, the question of granting protection to the petitioner will not arise at all. Page No:2/4

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, there is no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
