The petitioner made a representation on 8.10.2015 to the respondent seeking measurement and sub-division of the land in Survey No.27/1 situated at Athiyur Thiruvathi village, Villupuram Taluk and District. Seeking to expedite the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

3. Considering the facts of the case, the respondent is hereby directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 8.10.2015 made by the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
