ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by The Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to construct Animal Pound in Thiruvarur District and consequently a hospital or veterinary clinic for the treatment of animals and the 4th respondent to allot suitable gazing land for cattle to avoid destruction of crops.
2. In this regard, the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 06.09.2025 to the competent authority, which is still pending.
3. The grievance expressed by the petitioner appears to be genuine. He submitted that in Thiruvarur District, there is no Pound to keep these stray cattle. In this regard, he has submitted the aforesaid representation.
4. Taking into consideration the fact that the representation of the petitioner is pending, the fifth respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 06.09.2025 submitted by the petitioner, on its own merits and pass a detailed speaking order within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
