(Order of the Court was made by Dr.ANITA SUMANTH.,J) Learned counsel for the appellant states that the appellant has passed away on 25.02.2017 and that the legal heirs are not interested in pursing this Writ Appeal any further.
2. At the hearing on 10.09.2024, we had directed the learned counsel for the Chennai Corporation to collect the details of property tax arrears, if any, in respect of the subject property.
3. Mr.S.Anban Bharathy, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Ms.Aswini Devi, learned counsel for the Chennai Corporation confirms that the Corporation has not done any due diligence in respect of the pending property tax arrears and in any event is not even pursuing the demand notice that was the subject matter of the Writ Petition.
