Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to approve the appointment of the petitioner as B.T.Assistant Tamil from the date of her appointment from 09.12.2011 based on the proposal of the 5th respondent in Na.Ka.No.15/2010-11 dated 15.07.2013, along with all attendant and monetary benefits. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The case of the petitioner is that she was appointed as B.T.Assistant, Tamil in the fifth respondent's school on 09.12.2011. The Joint Director of School Education approved the said post as B.T.Assistant-Tamil by his proceedings in O.Mu.No.69087/D1/E1/2010 dated 19.08.2011. The Chief Educational officer also gave permission to fill up the said vacancy. The petitioner would state that the fifth respondent has forwarded the proposal to all the respondents in Na.Ka.No.15/2010-2011 dated 15.07.2013 seeking approval of the appointment. The said proposal is not yet considered. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.
3. This Court taking into consideration the facts and circumstances, directs the second respondent to consider the proposal of the fifth respondent in Na.Ka.No.15/2010-2011 dated 15.07.2013 in accordance with law, and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
