With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. Seeking a direction to the repondent to pass orders on the objections dated 19.08.2019 submitted by the petitioner seeking enhancement of compensation based on which enquiry was conducted on 23.09.2023, this writ petition has been filed.
3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.
4. It is the grievance of the petitioner that though enquiry was completed by the respondent on 23.09.2023, no order has been passed on his application filed under Section 3G(5) of the Highways Act, 1956. Hence, he filed the present writ petition with the above prayer.

Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's objections dated 19.08.2019, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
