O R D E R

The petitioner made a representation on 10.9.2015 to the 2nd respondent seeking to cancel the mortgage deed registered in document No.3857 of 2014, as the power of attorney in pursuant to which the said mortgage deed has been executed, has been cancelled. On receipt of the same, the 2nd respondent in letter C.No.137/2015 dated 6.10.2015 has forwarded the same to the 1st respondent, who is the competent authority, for appropriate action. Seeking to expedite the said proceedings, the present writ petition is filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the facts of the case, the 1st respondent is hereby directed to expedite the pending proceedings in pursuant to the letter dated 6.10.2015 sent by the 2nd respondent to the 1st respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned.
