Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, to direct the first respondent to forthwith take appropriate action on the representation of the petitioner dated 26.10.2014 submitted for cancellation fraudulent and illegal sale deed dated 22.09.2015 registred on the file of the Joint II Sub Registrar (4th respondent), Dharmapuri vide document No.3354 of 2015.

The petitioner is said to have purchased the property comprised in a survey No.717/3 situated Chettikarai village to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

an extent of 8.5 cents (3706 sq.ft.) from the family of the 5th respondent under a registered sale deed dated 1.8.2007. Alleging that the very same property has been sold once again by the 5th respondent in favour of the 6th respondent subsequently on 22.9.2015, duly registered and seeking cancellation of the same, the petitioner made a representation on 26.10.2015. As the said representation is still pending for consideration, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 4.

3. Considering the facts of the case and without going into the merits of the same, a direction is hereby issued to the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the pending representation of the petitioner dated 26.10.2015 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned.

The Writ Petition is disposed accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected MP is closed.
