This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records and quash the proceedings in DVA No.87 of 2016 pending on the file of the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai-8.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned counsel appearing for both sides submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties, as per the terms of the Memorandum of compromise, before the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre. A Mediation Report dated 06.02.2017 has been produced to that effect.

3. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in DVA No.87 of 2016 on the file of the learned X Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

quashed insofar as the petitioners are concerned. The Mediation report dated 06.02.2017 along with the Memorandum of compromise entered into between the parties, is taken on record.
