The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct a survey of the evicted residents (petitioner nos.1 to 16) and rehabilitate the petitioners in accordance with the Tamil Nadu Slum Areas (Improvement and Clearance) Act, 1971.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted 2/4
that during the pendancy of this writ petition, allotment order was made in favour of the evicted residents/ petitioners and hence nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. 3.In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
