Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent herein to refer the issue of short levy in respect of HT Service Connection No.872 of the petitioner based on letter dated 10.07.2014 in

Lr.No.SE/CEDC/S/DFC/AAQ/HT/AS/AS7/F SC-872/D585/14 on the file of the second respondent herein to the next higher level officer as contemplated under Clause 11 [6] of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulation Supply Code.

This writ petition has been filed for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to refer the issue of short levy in respect of HT Service Connection No.872 of the petitioner based on letter dated 10.07.2014 of the second respondent to the next higher level officer as contemplated under Clause 11 [6] of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulation Supply Code.

Heard Mr.M.Sanathanaraman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

3. It appears that the petitioner is having grievance over the demand made by the second respondent dated 28.11.2013 directing the petitioner to pay a sum Rs.58,98,999/-.

4. It is the submission of the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents that the petitioner has an alternative remedy before Consumer Grievance Redressal Form.
